A charming old Swedish wooden stool in a traditional Scandinavian Allmoge. The stool has a beautiful, distinctive shape, with decoratively carved legs and a softly scalloped edge. Its original reddish-brown finish gives the wood a warm, natural character and highlights the lovely patina that only comes with age and use.
Although its days as a functional stool are over, it still has plenty to offer as a decorative piece. It makes a beautiful addition to a rustic, country-style interior or creates an interesting contrast in a more contemporary setting, where old meets new. Leave it as it is or use it as a small display stand for a plant or another carefully chosen object.
The stool has an old repair with metal brackets on the inside, adding to its history and character.
Vintage items are sold as-is, with the patina, wear and repairs that come with age and use.
