Sturdy and very nice old knob strip with three long hand-carved hooks. In the 18th-19th centuries, the design of the knob strip depended on where it was hung. In simpler spaces, they were usually undecorated and rustically designed like this example. Served then as now excellently as a clothes hanger or for kitchen towels and aprons.
